Are you interested in undertaking some practical work with the WTSWW Cardiff Group?
Following some initial work in the summer to bash the Himalayan balsam in the Wild Gardens at Roath Park we will be working with the park ranger to improve the biodiversity of this small woodland. We have three mornings planned: 11th, 18th January and 1st February 2023. One of these dates will be used to put up nest boxes. Arrangements for these events will be posted on this website
We have also received a grant jointly with the Friends of Cathays Cemetery to put up nest boxes in the cemetery. You are welcome to help with this task. Dates will be posted on this website in due course. The nest boxes will also need monitoring and cleaning in the autumn.
